Huawei’s has added another product into its G series, codenamed the Huawei G7 Plus. The phone is priced at approximately ₹22,900, has a fingerprint reader and 90% metal body. Currently, the phone is available in Thailand only.
The Huawei G7 Plus is considered to be the upgraded version of previously released Huawei G7. The Huawei G7 Plus comes with 5.5-inch FullHD display with 2.5D Gorilla Glass on top for scratch resistance. The device is powered by a 1.5 GHz octa-core Snapdragon 615 processor. The device has 3GB of RAM and 32 GB internal storage.
For photography, the phone has a 13MP rear shooter with features such as dual-tone flash, optical image stabilization, sapphire lens, RGBW sensor, wider aperture etc. and 5MP front shooter.
The device runs on Android 5.1 coupled with Emotion UI v3.1. The dimensions of the phone are 152.50 x 76.50 x 7.50mm. The phone is expected to get Android 6.0 early next year. The battery capacity is 3000mAh. The fingerprint sensor can unlock the device in just 0.5 seconds and it also supports gestures for viewing notifications or navigating through the home screen.
At this price range, the phone is power packed with high-end specifications. The news about its global marketing has not yet come, but we can soon expect it in the Indian market. With fingerprint reader, dual-tone flash, metal body it just lags an IR sensor which is seen in many phones in this price range.
