The Aeromobil 3.0 was revealed today, and if you had read our previous article about it, you might have been waiting for its release as well.
To be honest, we were indeed quite sceptical about the Aeromobil 3.0 when we heard about this, but now, we could certainly tell that this is no ordinary joke. Štefan Klein, the man behind this venture has devoted 20 years and has finally made his dream come true. Not only did he fulfil his dream, but also made the words of one of 20th century’s greatest inventors a reality.
Powered by a Rotax 912 engine, the Aeromobil 3.0 prototype can run both on road and in air. Its testing procedures have been very successful and the new prototype has many new features including variable angle of attack of the wings, which enables the Aeromobil to take off even in short distances. The suspension of the Aeromobil 3.0 is also adjusted and made sturdier such that it can also be able to take off and land in relatively rough terrain. This has increased its off-roading capabilities as well.
The new prototype of the Aeromobil 3.0 can reach speeds of 160 kmph on land and 200 kmph in air. That is more than enough, and its dimensions are also so practical that we are hoping the Aeromobil 3.0 would become street legal when it is ready for production. So sit back, relax, and watch a few pictures of the new Aeromobil 3.0 prototype which was launched just a few hours earlier today. And don’t miss the videos too!
