The Tremendous Three – Harley Davidson CVO Limited Edition, Street Glide Special and Softail Breakout

Three more Harley Davidson products have ventured into India, and that is good news for Indian Harley Davidson lovers who have a lot of money. That is because these motorcycles cost  a hefty sum of money and they certainly are no ordinary Harley Davidsons. All of these are 2015 models and they are christened as CVO Limited, Street Glide Special and Softail Breakout.

CVO is a limited edition Harley Davidson and it comes in with a lot of features. This also indirectly means that it would be the costliest Harley Davidson in India.  The CVO Limited is priced at Rs 49.23 Lakhs ex showroom. Sporting a pair of handlebars with two speakers, four gauges and a huge screen, the Harley Davidson CVO limited is definitely a car on two wheels. Given the fact that you could very well own a good luxury car for this price, the CVO limited will definitely be a choice only among the best of Harley Davidson lovers. Nicknamed ‘Project Rushmore – Confidence’, the Harley Davidson CVO Limited edition is huge and bound to make its owner confident. It has a Boom!  Box 6.5GT Radio and a 6.5 inch full colour touch screen display. With a 1801 cc Twin-Cooled™ Twin Cam 110™ engine, this is the costliest Harley that you could get in India for now.

The 2015 Harley Davidson Street Glide debuts at Rs 29.7 Lakhs and it holds a reputation for control. It is one of the best cruisers in India for long rides and touring, and it also comes with a 6.5 inch color touch screen. The 1690cc high output Twin Cam 103™ engine is smaller than that of the CVO Limited, but it is still too much for Indian roads. This makes the 2015 Harley Davidson Street Glide the second costliest of the new entrants.

Finally comes the Harley Davidson 2015 Softail Breakout, priced at 16.28 Lakhs. Though least in price, I would say this is the best motorcycle among the three because of its naked and raw look. Powered by a1690cc Twin Cam 103B™ engine, the Breakout is definitely worth the buy. To be honest, this is the one I would choose from the rest.
