OnePlus has officially stated that the Android Lollipop update will be available to its flagship killer, the OnePlus One, by 30th of March 2015.
The Android Lollipop update will be available to the OnePlus One through CyanogenMod 12S over-the-air update.
OnePlus is also keen on developing its own customized version of the Android OS called as the OxygenOS. The development of such a homebrew OS seems to be the company’s reaction to the breakage of connections between CyanogenMod and the OnePlus and further more, it might actually be an attempt to come up with a competitive Android version that can prove to be an effective alternative to the CyanogenMod OS.
The homebrew OS is stated to be available from 27th of March 2015.
