We are being bombarded with rumors and leaks about the HTC One M9 Plus everyday and it is fair enough to believe that there might be some actual depth to it. Recently images of an invitation to an exclusive HTC event has surfaced.
The images tease the supposedly upcoming device with the text “More than One”, which seems to hint on an expanded version of the HTC One M9, and it could very well be the HTC One M9 Plus.
The images state that the alleged HTC event would be held on 8th of April in Beijing. These images were lifted moments after they were revealed and it is uncertain if the images were genuine.
One of the images also reveals the Anututu specification screen of the HTC One M9 Plus, which confirms the 5.2 inch Quad HD display. The image also shows that the handset will be powered by a 64-bit Mediatek MT6795T SoC which has with 8 cores and OS coupled to a Power VR6200 GPU. We can be certain that at least one variant of the HTC One M9 Plus will be equipped with the Mediatek chipset. There is 3 GB of RAM available and 32 GB of inbuilt storage, and we are not sure if this is expandable.
The rear camera is a 20.7 MP unit similar to the one found in the HTC One M9. The set of images also reveals that the HTC One M9 Plus might indeed be equipped with the Dual camera set up similar to the ones seen on the HTC One M8.
However, it is just pure speculation at this point and it will remain so until official information about the device is available.
