Moto G 3rd Generation Priced 15k, WaterProof

The Moto G 3rd Generation smartphone is expected to be released on July 28th. After many rumours and leaks, we have another retailer, Digitec, putting up a page for the new Moto G 3rd Generation. Initially, the Moto G 3rd generation has been spotted in Indian import/export website Zauba. A Moto G  with model number XT1550 has been imported to India for testing purposes.

According to the latest photo leak, the upcoming Moto G 3rd Generation will come with a waterproof rating of IPX7. This is not the rating that you see in high-end smartphones, but a normal one, capable of taking a few splashes. The device is safe when submerged underwater for up to a metre deep for as long as 30 minutes.

The specifications of the upcoming Moto G 3rd Generation are as follows. The new budget phone from Moto will have a 13 megapixel rear shooter and an impressive 5 megapixel front camera, MicroSD support for storage expansion, a Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor clocking up to 1.7 GHz and the same 2,070 mAh battery, which was available in its predecessor. For basic gaming and graphics, an Adreno 405 chip is included. It is also expected to come with 2 Gigabytes of RAM. In terms of connectivity, Moto G 3rd generation will sport 4G LTE.

The Indian Invite for the Moto G 3rd Generation said, “A good friend will offer you their umbrella when it rains. A best friend will forever be ready to dance in the rain with you”.

Moto will have to increase its range of budget smartphones due to the increasing competition.  After Moto X and Moto 360, the Moto G 3rd Generation will allow its owners to choose the back panel colour, accent colour, wallpaper and more, and then ship it right to their door. The price is expected to be $245 (around 15,000 INR).
