The YU Yureka Plus price drop from 9,999 to 8,999 is a nice marketing strategy by Micromax. This gives the device an amazing value for money ratio and lets it compete with the tech giant Lenovo’s K3 Note.
The Micromax YU Yureka Plus price drop was announced today, probably as a response to the Lenovo K3 Note and the Xiaomi Mi 4i. The device boasts of the developer backed Cyanogen OS 12 along with a revamped 5.5-inch 1080p display compared to the 720p display found in its predecessor.
The Micromax YU Yureka Plus is powered by the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 Soc does that powers the YU Yureka. All the other specifications are very similar to the YU Yureka itself.
The first sign of the YU Yureka Plus price drop was noticed yesterday when Micromax tweeted so.
It can always cheer up your mood! Can you guess what is that something which when drops, makes you happy? pic.twitter.com/KFlndeAL1b

The price cut should give a sizeable advantage to the Micromax YU Yureka and tempt the users to give it a try. It is almost INR 4,000 cheaper than the Xiaomi Mi 4i and provides more or less similar features with the added benefit of running a Cyanogen ROM.
