As September approaches, developers and mobile enthusiasts gear up for the arrival of the next Nexus device. This has been the norm so far and it appears that the same will hold true for this year as well. New LG Nexus and Huawei Nexus models have been starring in the leaks for some time now. Sources suggest that the new LG Nexus and Huawei Nexus models will be announced on September 29 in a Nexus-themed event held at San Francisco.
The new LG Nexus will be the successor to its earlier iteration, the Nexus 5 2013 while the Huawei Nexus will purportedly be a smaller Nexus 6. This will be Huawei’s first attempt at making a Nexus device and it’s pretty obvious that they intend to use it to boost their brand image in global markets. On the other hand, LG will be making its third Nexus device and should have no problems getting it right again.
Both the devices will be equipped with Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Pricing details haven’t been revealed yet, but the announcement date falls in line with the earlier leaks. Although search giant Google has declined to make any comments about these leaks, there is a high chance that September 29 might be the big day. We will be updating you as soon as we get additional information.
