As we all know, the next Star Wars movie is expected be released in December and HP has decided to pay homage by redesigning their HP Pavilion 15t. The  tech giant has made sure that the HP Star Wars laptop packs in numerous features that will surely interest Star wars fanboys.

Let the Force Be With You

Always pass on what you have learned. The spec sheet is clearly not something that is unseen before. The HP Star Wars laptop sports a 15.6-inch IPS screen with a display resolution of 1920×1080 pixels and an optional touch screen feature. It is powered by Intel’s latest 6th-gen Skylake Core i5 or i7, expandable storage up to 2TB and holds 6GB of DDR4 RAM in dual-channel mode. 

Basic graphic processing is done by Intel HD 520 graphics; gamers are given an optional Nvidia GeForce 950m upgrade. The The HP Star Wars laptop is quite on heavier side weighing about five pounds. An optical drive is included, which we don’t see much these days. The gimmick also boasts 7 hours of battery life. 

Special Features for the Star Wars Fans

Right from the packaging, HP has paid a huge amount of attention to detail. The packaging consists of two boxes, one placed inside another (Both wreathed with images of Darth Vader). There is a flap with the words You don’t know the power of the dark side”, underneath which is the HP Star Wars laptop. The laptop itself is protected by foam inserts shaped like an Imperial Starfighter.

On the top deck of the HP Star Wars laptop is a Storm Trooper. The notebook is covered with images of Stormtroopers and the X-wing Star Fighter Guidance System. Even the touchpad is decorated with the images of Luke Skywalker’s Death Star trench run. There are licensed sounds, screen savers, wallpapers and even the recycle bin icon that switches from Episode IV Death Star when full to Episode VI when empty. HP even throws in a licensed Star Wars Aurebesh font. The keys light up in lightsaber red and even the recycle bin icon is a Death Star.

Though the wait is not long, Patience You Must Have. The HP Star Wars laptop goes on sale from November 8th for a price of $699.
