TVS-BMW G310R Is a Mean, Naked Machine

The moment that many Indian bikers had been waiting for has actually come true. The TVS-BMW G310R has been unveiled today and the photo of the bike being tested by a rider is already making rounds on social media.

A rendering of the TVS-BMW G310R was released last month, and the motorcycle looks just like the rendering, with a very few changes. The design looks practical and well suited for Indian streets. The bike will pose serious competition to the KTM Duke 390 when released.

Engine of the TVS-BMW G310R

There are not many motorcycles in India that come with a 300cc engine. The TVS-BMW G310R has a 313cc engine, which is completely engineered in Germany (We hope they have not cheated emission levels this time).

Though the engine is much smaller than that of the Duke 390, this beast is expected to produce around 34 bhp at 9500 rpm. This makes it perfect for both highway as well as street rides.

Mono Suspension

The TVS-BMW G310R comes with the popular mono suspension, just like the Duke. However, it is expected to be much better than KTM in terms of performance. The minimal tail lights and the extension of the rear mudguard make the bike look oddly similar to the Duke in many ways.

Price Not Revealed

The TVS-BMW G310R is expected to be sold in selected TVS showrooms and BMW outlets across the country, but BMW has not given an official announcement or a press release. The price has also not been revealed yet, but it will quite make a hole in your pocket.
