The HTC One X9, which recently got a pass from TENAA (a Chinese communications certification organization), has been the primordial subject of rumors when it comes to HTC devices. Now, a couple of rendered images showcasing the HTC One X9 from various angles have begun floating around the internet.
When it comes to the specifications front, TENAA suggests that the HTC One X9 will feature a 5.5 inch IPS display with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels and a pixel density of 401 ppi. The processor is expected to be a 2.2 GHz octa-core variant, which would most likely be 64-bit enabled. There is 2GB of RAM and 16 GB OF internal storage.
The rear camera of the HTC One X9 is listed to be 13 MP, while the front camera will be 5 MP, but we wouldn’t be surprised if HTC fits the device with its proprietary 4 MP UltraPixel module. The battery is rated at 3,000 mAh and should hold enough juice to push the device through atleast 18 hours of usage.
The device is also listed to be as thin as 7.99mm and would be available with Android Lollipop 5.0.2 out of the box.
Honest Bottom Line
If HTC does indeed ship the device with Android 5.0.2 Lollipop, we recommend not getting it since any versions of the Lollipop below 5.1.1 is plagued with memory leak issues and trust us, you do not want memory leak issues on your device.
If you still desperately want this device, make sure you get a confirmation from HTC or any first-hand users that HTC has patched the memory leak bug before shipping the handset.
