After a few years of planning and development, the Faraday Future FFZERO1 has been revealed on the company’s social media accounts. Codenamed the FFZERO1, this concept car looks more like something that is built for the race track.
As CES 2016 gets closer, Faraday Future revealed more about its technology, besides its first product. It is expected that a prototype of the Faraday Future FFZERO1 might be displayed at the CES 2016. While most reports and articles on the internet have been talking about the company as a ‘Tesla Competitor’, we would like to differ.
Looking at the Faraday Future FFZERO1, one would realize that it is resembles an exotic sports car. Huffington Post mentioned that it looks like a Batmobile, and a few other reports mentioned that it looks highly futuristic and unconventional.
The problem behind electric cars being practical is that they cost much. This makes them unaffordable for the common man. Tesla Motors had made models like the Model X and the Model S and they did not sell very well, but they could at least be called ‘luxury cars’.
The Faraday Future FFZERO1 does not look like a car that could be driven on the road. It is certainly good for the racetrack, or it could be used in the future, 20 to 30 years from now.
Elon Musk mentioned that the Model X itself had too much of technology which was not really needed at present. The Faraday Future FFZERO1 is beyond that. Though the working features of the concept have not yet been revealed, the design makes it not just suitable for the roads right now.
On the outside, not all designs become successful concepts. If the Faraday Future FFZERO1 becomes a production model, we might as well see some major changes. We are also guessing that the next concepts would be named FFZERO2, FFZERO3 and so on.
