As we approach the MWC 2016, details about the flagships become clearer and clearer. Today we take a sneak peak at Zauba’s listing of the Samsung Galaxy S7 and the Galaxy S7 Edge. In case you haven’t heard about Zauba, it’s a website which tracks the export and import of electronics to and from India.
The import details list that the Galaxy S7 and the S7 Edge are being imported from South Korea to India. The product description also specifically lists that the handset is being imported for testing purposes only.
The first product with the codename SM-G930R4 is expected to be the Samsung Galaxy S7 and the screen size falls in line with the previous leaks. The S7 is listed to feature a 5.1-inch display and unfortunately, that was all we could infer from the listing.
The second product with the codename SM-G935R4 is most likely the Galaxy S7 Edge, which is listed to feature a 5.5-inch display which is obviously curved as the “Edge” moniker suggests. While this may not look like a lot of information, it does attest the fact that the previous leaks have some credibility.
The fact that Samsung has already begun testing its next flagship is a great news for enthusiasts. Beginning the testing phase clearly ensures that the product will be up for sale on time.
