Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 appears to have gotten its photo taken prior to the official launch and thanks to the infamous twitter leakster @evleaks, we now have a couple of them floating around the internet.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 passed its TENAA certification last month. The Tab S3 is expected to be launched in two variants, an 8 inch one and a bigger 9.7 inch one. It looks like Samsung plans on taking Apple head on in the tablet game.
The Galaxy Tab S3 is started to feature the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 SoC which has four Cortex-A72 cores coupled to four Cortex-A53 cores. We expect the performance to be in part with the last generation’s flagship chipset, the Snapdragon 810. The Tab S3 will feature 3GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage which can be expanded further with the help of a microSD card.
The rear camera is expected to be an 8MP unit capable of 1080p video recording whereas the front camera is limited to 2MP. The Tab S3 will also be available on a 150 Mbps LTE variant.
Both, the 8-inch variant and the 9.7-inch one are expected to feature a Quad HD resolution for a Retina-like viewing experience. The speculated specifications look promising, but pricing will play an important role and we hope Samsung gets it right this time.
