Honda has launched a new SUV to join the plethora of SUVs available in the market. You might say there are a few SUV’s in the market already, what’s new in the Honda BR-V? Well, let me show you. Firstly, the Honda BR-V is a direct competitor to the Hyundai Creta and Renault Duster. The first thing it gets over those two is that the BR-V is a 7-seater whereas the other two are only 5-seaters. Let us look at other aspects of the car.
Design and Look of the Honda BR-V
The Honda BR-V looks solid and has killer lines running along it in typical Honda fashion. The SUV looks imposing and looks to take on anything head on. The front grille and the lights look a bit Creta inspired. The alloys with their solid metallic finish look beautiful. Moving to the interiors, they are sharp and crisp as well. The lines on the dash are well defined, the vents and the steering look mighty swell. The leather finish on the dash looks super posh and gives a generally good car vibe.
Under the Hood
The Honda BR-V is packing a lot of power under the hood as well. Since it is a Honda car, it comes fitted with a 1.5 liter 98.6 bhp 16V i-Dtec engine. The engine pumps out 1498CC. The max power generated is 98.6 bhp @3600 rpm. It produces 2000nm of Torque at 1750rpm.
On the whole, the BR-V is a really good SUV and sounds like good competition for the SUV’s that are already in the market. If you are on the look out for a good SUV in the 8 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi) bracket then the BR-V is the choice to go for.
