Andromeda Is Google’s Next Operating System Debuting with a Laptop

After a not so successful attempt at launching an operating system that was expected to change the world, Google is trying to get back into the race. This time, the OS will be called Andromeda and it will be a combination of Android and Chrome OS.

To be honest, we do not really know if this is a good idea. But if Andromeda turns out to be really awesome and much better compared to the dominating operating systems, it could hit a jackpot for Google.

Leaks about Google’s Pixel devices surfaced a few days back and there were hints of two devices, the Pixel and Pixel XL, which were codenamed Pixel 1 and 2. A few sources claim that another laptop is planned to be released by Google, and this might come with the Andromeda OS. This device is codenamed as the Pixel 3. Few other reports suggest that the Andromeda laptop is codenamed ‘Bison’.

There are also speculations that the Andromeda OS might feature on a Huawei Nexus tablet that is yet to be manufactured. However, for now, these remain to be only speculations and we are not sure if Google might re-consider Andromeda.

Do you think Andromeda will disrupt the current operating systems and create a revolution for Google? Or will it go down the drain as another failed attempt?
