We already witnessed a couple of Samsung Galaxy C9 units on Zauba and reported about it earlier. It has hardly been 2 weeks since the first report and the Galaxy C9 has already made its appearance in popular benchmarks such as AnTuTu and GeekBench.
Now that we have information from both, AnTuTu and GeekBench, we can easily make a round of the plausible specification of the phone.
The Samsung Galaxy C9 will be featuring a display touting a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. It will be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 which is an octa-core processor with 4x Cortex-A72 and 4x Cortex-A53 cores arranged in big.LITTLE configuration.
The real showstopper, however, is the 6 GB RAM and the 16-megapixel front facing camera which pairs nicely with the 16-megapixel camera at the rear. The combination is deadly enough to even decimate handsets priced at the high-end spectrum of the smartphone market.
The Samsung Galaxy C9 will be featuring Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow skinned with Samsung’s own Touch Wiz UI, out of the box.
It is speculated that Samsung will pull the sheets out of the Galaxy C9 by the end of October 2016. If Samsung can price this handset right, it may end up being one of the best high-profile smartphones in the upper mid-range segment.
