BlackBerry DTEK60 (Argon) Leaked, Looks like an Alcatel Idol 4S

We just witnessed a leak about the BlackBerry DTEK60 and its appearance at GCC and WiFi certification list. It has hardly been a couple of days and we already have the leaked renders of the BlackBerry Argon DTEK60. The images show that the DTEK60 has a striking resemblance to the Alcatel idol 4s. Right from the camera to the Fingerprint sensor and the phone’s design aesthetics, everything screams of the idol 4s. The images are in line with the design of the images leaked by @evleaks.

TCL has been provided with the contract to manufacture the BlackBerry DTEK60. TCL is the parent company of Alcatel, which could have some connection with the similar design language between the idol 4s and the DTEK60.

The BlackBerry DTEK60 will feature a 5.5-inch display with a QHD resolution. The handset will be powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820. It will be equipped with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage.

The rear camera is a 21-megapixel unit while the front camera is an 8 megapixel one. From the images, it also appears that the DTEK60 will be equipped with a USB Type-C port instead of the conventional mini-USB port.

Additionally, the FCC certification also indicated two models numbers the BBA100-1 and BBA100-2, which could possibly mean that the handset will be available iñ GSM and CDMA variants or it could very well mean that the DTE60 will be offered in single and dual SIM variants.

The pricing of the BlackBerry DTEK69 is expected to be around 699 CAD which roughly equates to 530 USD. If this was to be believed, then the DTEK60 will be priced anywhere between 490 USD to 550USD. It is also speculated that BlackBerry will launch the DTEK60 on November 11, 2016.
