Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime Appears on Geekbench Again, Clears FCC

To be honest, not many of us except for the ardent Samsung fans will be excited about the Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime 2016. But if you are a fan of Samsung, then the Galaxy Grand Prime may serve as a good low mid-ranger for you.

Today’s leak is a collaboration of Samsung Grand Prime’s FCC certification and GeekBench appearances. The US FCC certifications reveal that the Grand Prime will be available in two variants, one if which will be Dual SIM.

The GeekBench and other benchmark appearances of the Samsung Grand Prime 2016 have shown us that the handset will be equipped with a 5-inch display rocking a mediocre resolution of 960×540. At the heart of the Grand Prime 2016 is a quad-core MT6737T chipset from MediaTek clocked at around 1.4 GHz.

It will be equipped with 2 GB of RAM to provide a satisfying multi-tasking experience. The rear camera is listed to be 8 megapixels while the front camera is a selfie-friendly 5 megapixels.

The Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime 2016 will be running Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of the box.

Also, a little tip to Samsung from me (Abhishek. V):

“If you are going to couple mediocre specifications with a bad design, please don’t call it “PRIME” and insult the moniker.”
