It appears that the OnePlus fans have something new to rejoice after the loot sale held by OnePlus recently. OnePlus is expected to launch a new handset with the Snapdragon 821 processor soon. The information was revealed in a tweet by Qualcomm recently which stated the same.
“Something new from @OnePlus is on the way…and it’s powered by our #Snapdragon 821 processor. Stay tuned.”

Although not in rumors often, the OnePlus 3T was mentioned on the internet occasionally.
The processor in discussion here is also the same one that powers the recently launched Google Pixel and the Pixel XL phones.
While not being a drastically different processor from the Snapdragon 820 itself, found on the OnePlus 3. The Snapdragon 821 improves upon its predecessor’s power efficiency to give a significantly longer battery life while maintaining a similar performance.
The OnePlus 3T (at least that’s what we think it will be called) is also stated to feature the new Sony IMX398 sensor featuring a resolution of 16 MegaPixels. It is also expected to cost around $480, which makes it $80 more expensive than the OnePlus 3.
We are expecting to receive more leaks and details regarding the OnePlus 3T. Stay with us on social media for more updates.
