Lenovo’s CEO has just teased the arrival of the Lenovo Zuk Edge. Admittedly, the Zuk series has been one of the best series of smartphones from Lenovo, excelling in both specification and value for money. So there’s no surprise that people are waiting for its next iteration.
The Lenovo Zuk Edge recently cleared the TENAA certification which gave us some insights into the possible specifications. The Zuk Edge is expected to feature a 5.5 inch Dual Curved LCD display (much like the Samsung S7 Edge) that will be carrying a resolution of 1080p. While the resolution may not sound as impressive, it should be enough to get the job done without looking fuzzy and pixelated.
Snapdragon 821 to Power the Lenovo Zuk Edge
The Zuk Edge will be powered by the top of the crop Snapdragon 821 SoC. The RAM will be 6GB while the storage options will include a 64GB and 128GB options. The rear camera on the Zuk Edge is listed to be a 13MP sensor for the rear while the front is glorified by an 8MP selfie-centric camera. The handset will also be running Android Nougat.
The CEO Chang Cheng also teased rendered images of the Lenovo Zuk Edge on Weibo, a social networking platform for China (much like the Facebook for the rest of the world). The rendered images show the front and the rear of the phone along with the stealthy black packaging it will possibly come with.
Unfortunately, the generous CEO didn’t give away any information pertaining to the dates or pricing. We will be updating more information on our magazine soon, make sure you are subscribed to get all the latest gadget and automobile news.
